When Should I Use Law of Attraction?

I’ve been doing something new on social media. I am hosting a FB Live every Monday through Thursday at 12:30 p.m. Central Time. In the interest of originality, I am calling it Jillian Live. This past week I’ve been talking about Law of Attraction, and one question I’ve received over and over is “When should I use what I’ve learned about LOA?”

My husband and I have settled in for the summer in west Texas, where he is going through Intensive Cardiac Rehab. He’s really enjoying himself, and the program has significant research showing a reversal in artery disease for those who  diligently follow the guidelines. That’s what we need; two heart attacks in less than three years is very scary.

As is always the case, we have met wonderful people who are making this summer easy. The hospital where Dempsey is attending the program has even given me an office. Now that my life has settled down in a routine, I find I have regained my energy and focus, and I’m eager to do more writing, and to serve more clients.  A friend suggested I establish a routine for the Lives, reminding me of the days we all turned on the television to watch Oprah at 4 p.m. My audience is significantly smaller than Oprah’s, but a number of people have mentioned they like knowing when I’ll be showing up to teach,  interact and have fun with my viewers.

My Live videos over the past several weeks have given prospective clients a taste of working with me. I have reopened my Reboot Your Bliss™ 3-Month Personalized Mentoring Program, and my intention is to attract the clients who are a good match. With each client, I support him or her in achieving clarity about exactly how they’d like their lives to be better in 90 days. That involves weekly mentoring sessions, unlimited email access to me, and weekly exercises for the client to complete before the next session.  The process addresses the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of my client’s life. Naturally, working with Law of Attraction is part of the process.

If you haven’t yet signed up for your free gift, 7 Secrets to Reboot Your Bliss™, by all means go to the right hand column of this webpage and claim it. It’s a quick and easy read that explains LOA and how to use it.

As to the “when” of using Law of Attraction, the simple answer is “all the time.” Law of Attraction is the simple principle that like attracts like. If we are happy, we energetically attract into our lives more reasons to be happy. If we’re grateful, we attract more things for which to be grateful. Law of Attraction is a natural law, like gravity. We’re all constantly using LOA, but if we’re not conscious of the process, we may be using it to our own detriment. If we spend our time in fear, we are unconsciously inviting into our lives the very things we fear. If we spend a lot of time noticing how difficult things are, or how we don’t have enough money, or how lonely we are, those are the things that will multiply in our lives.

Law of Attraction doesn’t guarantee a perfect life (not that anybody ever has had a perfect life). Although we consciously practice the principles of LOA, we’ve experienced serious illness, financial reverses, and even the early death of people we love. I believe some events in life may be predetermined, designed to provide challenges through which we grow spiritually. And of course, since none of us sees life from a godlike perspective, there is much we simply don’t understand.

On a day to day basis, however, using LOA consistently has smoothed out thousands of situations. In fact, I just used it to get information and forms I need for a bureaucratic process to correct and transfer a title. I had made a number of futile calls, then I remembered to write down what I wanted, in the present tense: “We now have a corrected title that reflects correct information.”

Shazam! I reached the right person with the right information, and the whole process is much simpler than I anticipated. LOA worked to ensure we found the correct rehab program, to have it covered by our insurance, to find a lovely – and free – place for us to park our RV while we’re here, to secure my perfect temporary office, and to successfully resolve a myriad of other details.

If you are on Facebook, drop by my page and see my Lives. Then buy yourself a notebook, and start writing down what you want. It’s the next best thing to magic!
